Take image burn-ins, bagpipes, Marfa landscapes and Donald Judd’s quotes, ghosts and echoes, HK history and oscillating memories, add karaoke screens and rather sinister red rooms and you’ll get a vague idea of what this marvelous exhibition looks like. Or maybe you got distracted by the chimeras of bagpipes or by reading quotes on the sides of the frames or by trying to figure out how was the moiré effect done… or just by laughing when you open the yet another door just to find yet another copy of the room (like I did).
