Weirding Worlds at Podium Gallery

Weirding Worlds at Podium Gallery

In their debut exhibition, Podium Gallery showcases the works of three female artists: Shuyi Cao, Anastasia Komar, and So Young Park. Reflecting on the suggested by Donna Haraway framework that challenges a human-centric view of the era and the world, all three artists suggest their vision of interconnected systems of existence (I am deliberately avoiding all the terms; they are quite chthonic and petrifying).
Glass and ceramic sculptures, abstract pieces with sculptural elements, video works and paintings work well together with the perforated stainless steel panels of the gallery.
(Warning: Approach the press release with caution unless you really are into contemporary critical theory)
