Xiao Xu: The Resounding Chasm at Ora Ora

Mystical and dreamy parkscapes drawn in various shades of velvety black. As surreal as they may seem, some of these landscapes are based on the deserted parks of Beijing where the artist had freely wandered. As real as they may seem, none of these landscapes are accurate depictions but rather expressions of the artist’s psychological states.
