The phrase “rapid development” is often used to describe the recent history of Hong Kong and China, but an exhibition by a child of a mainland Chinese immigrant serves as a reminder of how recent this history is.
Lewis Lee focuses on details and narratives, reimagining his father’s journey and the route he took, while also reflecting on the history and future of Hong Kong.
