Exhibition “Spinning in the Desert” by Christine Ay Tjoe at White Cube

Made me think of crumpled landscapes or seeds of life caught in a beautiful moment before unpacking and ready to shoot. New gestural paintings by Indonesian artist are much more light and gentle than her previous works but remain expressive and sophisticated.
