An exciting journey from gestural, but structural pigment paintings, through multilayered bright and dripping mixed media works to geometrical monochrome and then to vivid spatial explorative artworks. Colour, form, space as well as relationships and hierarchy of them were always in the focus of Al Held’s attention.
