That Artist: Erin Morrison
I’ve been struggling for quite some time trying to make this post because I find it incredibly difficult to write about artists — and the artworks — that I really admire. And the fact that her art practice is quite diverse isn’t making it more easy for me.
Huge gypsum bas-relief of coins that are of significance for the time and place require not only technical skills but a good amount of research peppered with curiosity. Lammahouse archive project was done so well that the actual owners of a house were convinced that exhibition had happened in reality (and were furious with that alleged art intervention). What will be next thing and what is the work in process? That’s for us to see.
