Artist Wai Pong Yu will continue the ongoing chatting-drawing project on the 12-meter scroll. He started this drawing in a tiny studio in 2019 when he needed quiet reflection and hoped to see a mindscape projection of collective consciousness. Thanks to the exhibition in 2022, “Brushstrokes and Beyond” at Axel Vervoordt Gallery, Hong Kong, the drawing has reached out to the public with a flow of stories. Now, with a Hong Kong green mountain as a landscape background, the drawing continues to reflect the dark corners in visitors’ minds like a tranquil water surface. And thanks to the support of HKADC Artspace, we can enjoy a comfortable southern retreat for healing conversations and heated debates.
Come tell Pongyu a story on the Southside Saturday!
