a|n Gallery presents the new solo exhibition of Hong Kong renowned multi-discipline artist Dr. Tang Ying-chi, “A Landscape Beyond: New Works by Dr. Tang Ying-chi”, presenting a total of 29 landscape paintings from two major series during the period from 3 December to 23 December 2021. Tang is an active art practitioner who merged various roles as practicing artist, educator, curator and writer. She has over 20 solo exhibitions, participated in many group exhibitions in Hong Kong and internationally, and obtained numerous awards/fellowships/residency such as People of the Time by British Council of Hong Kong (2008), the Urban Council Fine Art Awards at the Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial (1996) etc. This exhibition showcases 19 latest works from her “The Place” series, created in 2020 and 2021, as well as 10 experimental paintings belonging to “Anonymous Landscape” series from 2018.
