Reconnecting with everyone in 2021, reCONNECT to disCONNECT is a special display presenting selected artworks and the VR experience of disCONNECT (powered by Oculus Quest) at Wong Chuk Hang space in Hong Kong.

 disCONNECT is an exhibition that responds to the pandemic and explores themes of connection, belonging, isolation and reliance on technology at the time of COVID-19. It showcases works of art that prompt reflection of the human need for a sense of belonging and the thirsting to be connected physically and emotionally in moments of isolation. From the rigorous pre-exhibition planning to exhibition realisation, the practice corresponds with worldwide lockdown, quarantine and restrictions throughout the entire period.
