Soluna Fine Art is delighted to host a panel discussion that focuses on art and technology in the twenty-first century. With the gallery’s solo exhibition of Kim Young-Hun’s Electronic Nostalgia series, we aim to not only promote the significance of the artist’s artworks but decipher the complex interrelationships between art and technology. The discussion will be led by Dr. Alvaro Cassinelli, Associate Professor at City University Hong Kong’s School of Creative Media, and Professor Tam Wai Ping Lukas, Associate Professor at The Chinese University Hong Kong’s Department of Fine Art. The panel will introduce the intertwinement between art and technology and discuss Kim Young-Hun’s paintings in relation to art and technology.
Due to the current situation in Hong Kong and the government’s suggestion to practice social distancing, this panel discussion will be live-streamed on our Youtube channel on 13 May 2020. 48 hours prior to the event, we will send out the link for the panel discussion on our social media platforms. Guests can also receive the livestream link by email through our RSVP survey below.
I write about every exhibition I went to, and I go to almost every exhibition there is in Hong Kong. I shoot and edit my own photos for this blog.
I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.
I’m a proudly independent art blogger with no affiliation to any organisation. I blog because I love art and support the artists.
