AISHONANZUKA is pleased to start the new year by presenting Imon Boy’s Asian solo debut “WE HAVE IT ALL” on view from the 5th January to 3rd February, 2024 at AISHONANZUKA in LANDMARK, Central.

In this exhibition, Imon Boy brought a series of new canvas works and comic graffiti paper works, inviting us back to that midsummer dream. Imon Boy, with his roots in street graffiti, excels at depicting various life-like scenes, often in various cinematic perspectives, with a sense of humor. Departing from the text art form of graffiti, Imon Boy's work is a testimony to blending street graffiti techniques with contemporary cartoon elements. The great light and shade contrasts in soft and smooth strokes fully embrace the infinite possibilities when two art forms collide and evolve. For Imon Boy, the transition from summer to autumn marks a special occasion, as good times are fleeting. Living in the present and cherishing every encounter, or “carpe diem” described by the artist himself, is the way to live by.
