a|n Gallery has turned into a mystic forest where we find fairies of different shapes and forms co-exist in harmony with nature. "Earth, Wood and Fairies: Chao Harn Kae X HK Timberbank", on show at a|n Gallery from 4-19 August, showcases over 20 stoneware and bronze works by Malaysia-born HK artist Cao Harn Kae who is well know for his portrayal of fairies in the form of half human/half animal. HK Timberbank is a eco-social enterprise with ‘R3 – ReCYCLE, ReDESIGN, ReLINK’, pursuing industrialisation of timer industry using local felled trees due to typhoon, aging or urban development. The exhibition features works that are created from different kinds of timber found in HK.
