Sun Museum will present 80 works created by renowned oil painter Chan Chiu Lung. This exhibition entitled “The Light of Colours by Chan Chiu Lung” will take place from 27 April 2022 to 23 July 2022.

Chan Chui Lung is among the few classical realistic oil painters in Hong Kong and is famous for his portraits of Chinese and foreign people. He started painting at the age of 16, and studied art under Liu Xingyuan from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Inspired by the works of masters when traveling in Europe, Chan combined Russian Realism and Impressionism on canvas.

This exhibition is a highlight of his works in the previous 18 years since 2003, which serves as a significant record in his creative career. This selection of oil paintings is divided into four categories: portrait, nude, still life and landscape.
