Games and Creative Adaptation:
The Continuous Re-construction of Chinese Characters

Self-taught Fung Ming-chip is primarily an artist of the word: essayist, novelist, poet, playwright, seal carving and calligraphy. This talk will focus on the artist’s motivation for creating over 100 different script styles and the creative process of constructing new characters and painting formats.
