Local multimedia artist Agnes Pang has been working as full time artist and educator since 2012. She is committed to promoting art and creativity, and loves to use everyday disposable items to create vibrant images of life, from sushi to corals and lanterns to landscapes.
The title “Uplifting” represents her joy and spiritual awakening from making artwork during the last 10 years as an artist. She enjoys every moment of picking and collecting unwanted materials to finishing art pieces. Agnes will be showing her creative, innovative artwork made from foam nets, shells and plastic bottles, which deliver positive and encouraging messages to the public. She also hopes that, through her art, people may learn about and care for the natural beauty of our environment. Agnes is a multi-media artist with 2 bachelor degrees and 2 master degrees (BA, LLB, MBA and MAJSP) and the author of “Agnes Recycles - arts & crafts”. She is also an advocate of recycled art and has been sharing her creative ideas on different channels and engaging in various commercial and charity projects. Her artwork is innovative, authentic and colourful, which always deliver positive and encouraging messages. Besides, she is a column writer for the Hong Kong Economic Times’ parenting section.
