Thomas Ngan: We Dream for That Light at 3812 Gallery

I have enormous respect to all the artists who chose a hyper realistic style. It’s challenging and demanding (and the uncanny valley effect is always there, just waiting for you). Having said all that I am delighted to see an artist who wants to move further away from the glossy realism into the much more abstracted and gestural brushstroke territory (I am and probably will always be “team abstract”).
