Exhibition

| in the title stands for verticality as a response to the gallery space and Hong Kong architecture. Repetitive and didactic these collages are constructed of thin stripes of the cardboard on the bright and textured canvases. These shaky vertical structures are not collapsing but instead exist at the brink of losing balance. With obvious references towards russian constructivism and futurism (specifically Bird in Space by Brancusi), I bet it was a great fun for the artist to work on these collages.
