Patricia Piccinini: Hope at Tai Kwun Contemporary
An ode to empathy, acceptance, compassion, kindness and love—you know, those simple things that are so difficult to be focused on. The ones that are so cheesy in our cultures that we automatically cringe when we got reminded of them. The important ones.
To be honest I’ve seen people being repelled and disgusted by Patricia’s creations but also I’ve seen how people were overcoming their first reactions and feeling a lot of curiosity and care instead.
And that gives me hope.
