Jess Fan: Sites of Wounding: Chapter 1

Two separate exhibitions that can be seen together, juxtaposed and intertwined. Both of them are filled with complex ideas and concepts and can lead to talks of many things.
Of surfaces—and flesh, of shells and skins, of politics—and control, colonialism and trauma, of cabbages—and kings, and a bit of poesy and macabre.
