Raha Raissnia: نور at Empty Gallery

Paintings, drawings, and films are rhythmically interconnected and deliver a kaleidoscopic effect best described by Raissnia herself: "My paintings brought abstraction to the vision I captured from the world on film and now the films are bringing elements of reality into my paintings." The exhibition for me was mostly an experience rather than something with exact narrative, so I’ll leave you to just some vague philosophical conclusion: wherever there’s light there will be shadow, wherever there’s movement there will be stillness, wherever there’s chaos there will be order. Now deal with it.
