 Won’t say I am the right person to write about Neo Rauch — there are plenty of books and essays about his works and himself, all written by professional writers. But I can help in case you want to know what is this exhibition about — it’s all up to you to decide. It’s retro-fantastical, vaguely historical, and definitely filled with symbols and meanings but all of them are purposefully ambiguous and will be left unexplained. Bear this uncertainty or come up with any narrative you fancy, anything goes.
