Aug 26 Heidi Ling: The Moon Wanes As It Waxes at Touch Gallery

Blue-toned delicate and melancholic paintings by young artist Heidi Ling. There’s something antinaturalistic and antimaterialistic in these works, not just because of the monochromatic color palette. The haziness and ambiguous lighting take away all clear indication of time and space, turning objects and landscapes into fading memories.
