Exhibition “The Moon Is Leaving Us” by Phoebe Hui at Tai Kwun
Meet Selenite and Selena, created for the fifth Audemars Piguet Art Commission. 48 screens of Selenite are showing variety of Moon images — from historical drawings to latest NASA’s photographs — and the (sometimes moody) drawings made by the draw-bot Selena.
Whole show is inspired not only by the artist’s longtime fascination by the Moon but also by the fact that Moon moves away from the Earth at a speed of 3.78 cm per year. The show is currently by invitation only but there’s virtual curatorial walk-through of the whole exhibition available at Audemars Piguet website.
