Showcasing fishhook paintings from artist’s Isla series. The sea views made up of fishhooks symbolizing the desire and danger of migration for many Cubans, adding sense of isolation as behind the barbed wire. This emotional duality and multiple meanings and connotations of a fishhook are brilliant.
