I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.

Inspired by rhythm and the sound of jazz improvisation these gestural abstractions have this soothing sense of familiarity that I feel looking at works by artists of Art Informel movement. I guess it’s the obvious spontaneity and freedom of motion that makes me immediately think of them.
(The title alludes to the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon movie as a suggested analogy of introducing new name and aesthetic from one culture to the audience from another)
