József Csató: Treasures, Trees, Fire and Bones at Double Q Gallery
Continuing with a goal of introducing more European artists to Hong Kong audience the gallery presents works by Hungarian artist. Bold figures—reminded me of Matisse’s cut-outs—occupy canvases with simplified depiction of bones and plants, looking together like whimsical collections of curiosities. Take a closer look to appreciate the layered technique, it’s quite interesting.
Exhibition period: 17.06–16.07.22
Gallery address: 68 Lok Ku Road, Sheung Wan
