Christopher K. Ho: I Am a 70-Year-Old British Sculptor at PHD Group
Full disclosure: there will be no answer to the obvious question “who is a 70-year-old sculptor (and why this is a chosen title)”. But after researching the nine-square grid developed by architect John Hejduk as an exercise and used by Christopher for his art process. And after understanding that the works on paper are the 90-degree axonometric drawings that correspond to the sculptures. And after recognizing the direct and indirect architectural references, biomorphic structures and organic forms — you may feel that not only the artist but you are also a 70-year-old British sculptor now.
