I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.

Jul 2 Exhibition “The Buddha” by Zhao Zhao at Massimo de Carlo

Cultural layers are piled on top of each other, resulting in fading, diluting and loss of dialects, cultures and traditions. Undeceivable fragments of Buddhist texts and images from murals created by layers of oil, acrylic, watercolor and oil stick marks are echoing that loss.

Last photos are showing works from the pop-up exhibition “The Empire of Cotton” at K11 Musea. Zhao Zhao proves once again what a versatile artist he is.
