Jaffa Lam: Chasing an Elusive Nature at Axel Vervoordt Gallery

Jaffa Lam: Chasing an Elusive Nature at Axel Vervoordt Gallery

Jaffa Lam is one of my favorite landscape artists: she happens to create those landscapes with industrial and up-cycled materials, wood and concrete, fabric and metal, lights and shadows. To deeply understand Jaffa’s works you have to be familiar with Chinese literature and philosophy, historical and cultural references but just like whole new worlds can grow from stone and bronze seeds—your appreciation of Jaffa’s works can start just from liking the aesthetic and noticing the humour.

Exhibition period: 15.10—14.01.23
Gallery address: 21F, Coda Designer Centre, Wong Chuk Hang
