Exhibition “Recollection Pierces the Heart” by Chen Tianzhuo at Tang Contemporary

Okay, I have to admit that I have problems with this exhibition.

Now that I’ve got your attention, let me explain: this show doesn’t belong to a white cube of a gallery. It should be showcased in an abandoned video game arcade, in a system of dark caves, in a stormwater collector, or in an amusement park during the night. Then all the works will have enough space and air, light and shadows, and won’t be crammed into one space.
