Chung Tai-fu: The trace of my expression of prints to the mineral pigment painting
Chung Tai-fu has been involving in artistic creation for over forty years. He uses many materials and techniques of different varieties. Chung Tai-fu originally loved to use intaglio printmaking with etching techniques. However, he became obsessed with the plasticity and expressiveness of mineral pigment later on for the artist’s mission and characteristics of mineral pigment carrying historical meaning. Chung Tai-fu hopes to share with art lovers the exploration from prints to pigment painting.
