A duo exhibition entitled “Inshō” by Stephanie Ching and Pater Ho, two local artists from the Hong Kong Art School and RMIT share their personal impression and stories of Japan.
Pater’s work originates from a study trip in Akita in 2018. Stephanie brings up her memories of Japanese people using a minimalist approach. Together, they want to let the audience to rekindle imagination through the works of photography and drawing. The artists do not intend to make reliable reproductions of reality, but rather would like to share their feelings and impressions of the urban environment with the audience.
Pater will be presenting a series of works named “Sun, Moon and Umbrella” whilst Stephanie’s are entitled “Stroll in the City”.
*You are most welcome to meet the artists on August 26 (Friday), 4-7pm.
