Blindspot gallery is pleased to present Soy Dreams of Milk, a group exhibition of 6 artists of Chinese and Korean descent that explores the complex experiences of migration, movement, and diasporic worlding. Viewing migration in a non-anthropocentric lens, the exhibition sees animal and species migration as part and parcel of a continuously unfolding ecological history, one that is under immense pressure from climate and geopolitical forces. What is the experience of leaving, of being diaspora, and of returning? What kind of historical sensorium does the migrating subjects conjure, and how does that inform their expression of desire, belonging, and pleasure?
