Schoeni Projects is delighted to announce SHAM SHUI PO IS STILL SHAM SHUI PO – a project that aims to map the pulse of one of Hong Kong’s oldest districts as a reminder of the value behind the historical landmarks and commerce, and that one should treasure the collective memories and foster connections with the local community both old and new. Illustrated through the visual language of one of the most important Hong Kong comic book artists, Li Chi Tak, who could be considered a Hong Kong treasure himself, the map demonstrates his distinctive artistic style that encourages closer inspection of and tells miniature stories about the district, encouraging the observer to explore the area themselves.
