The “A Diamond is Forever” natural diamond campaign in the Asia Pacific region kicks off with an announcement of Chinese actor Janice Man Wing Shan as Natural Diamond Ambassador, and the “Nature’s Mic Drop” Art Exhibition at SEEFOOD ROOM, a contemporary art space in Central, Hong Kong.
Curated by Samson Ko, co-founder of SEEFOOD ROOM, the exhibition showcases artworks inspired by the beauty of natural diamonds from 3 to 22 December. At the exclusive previews from 28 November to 2 December, visitors will have the opportunity to view some exceptional natural diamonds including a 616-carat rough diamond, and partake in diamond workshops conducted by experts from De Beers Institute of Diamonds.
“Nature’s Mic Drop” exhibition offers a multidisciplinary experience, composed of newly commissioned pieces from award-winning artists; an immersive LCD video installation; a collage of diamond-inspired artworks from international and local artists. Ko continued, “We hope to tell the story of our appreciation and admiration for Mother Nature and this precious gem she has created.”
