This exhibition celebrates Lucien Smith’s first show with OTI HK and debut show in Hong Kong. The collection of paintings is a Memento mori inspired by ordinary seed packets found in hardware stores. A study on permanence, the seed packets have a shelf life of only 1 to 2 years. If they are not purchased and planted the seeds would lie fallow for all eternity. The artist’s first exhibition in Hong Kong promises to be thought provoking and an excellent introduction to the artist.
