When it comes to what’s strange or normal in our day-to-day lives, who’s to say? As a cultural landmark that sparks endless creativity, K11 Art Mall questions this reality as we draw artistic inspiration from the surreal moments of everyday life. Like pens to paper, we ignite our creative minds across a blank slate of possibilities and take you on a journey of imagination through the normally abnormal Joint Exhibition, presented by the Art Venture Association. Presented in K11 Art Mall’s inaugural Design Fest, the exhibition in two parts takes place over a period of 6 weeks, where normally abnormal transforms into abnormally normal to highlight the delicate balance between strangeness and normality.

Gathering more than 40 local multimedia artists including illustrator Lam Pei, book designer Hei Ping and embroiderer Littlelenpopo, the exhibition showcases illustrations, murals, and installations that magnify the weirdness of daily life.
