a|n Gallery is proud to present the first solo show of Huo Yun, artist from Beijing, in Hong Kong. In 2010, Huo graduated from Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna (Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Italy) majoring in sculpture. Before then, he studied stage art at Università Di Bologna (Bologna University, Italy), and attended Hong Kong Baptist University for exchange program in 2009. He has held and participated in solo/group exhibitions globally, such as in Napoli (Italy), Bologna (Italy), Hong Kong, Beijing, Hangzhou. He was also a finalist of Mostra delle opere in concorso.(Trento, Italy)

Huo tends to use everyday materials to channel his desire to return to nature and to reflect on today’s highly efficient world. The exploration of the spatial interaction between lines and shapes in his works is a way for him to express his perception of the current state, with an aim to better reconcile with his inner world.
