“There is a kind of flower called heartfelt thanks, and there is a kind of fragrance called leaving beauty in drawing”

13a The New Street Art Gallery will present the "Dancing with Flowers" solo exhibition of Fapopo from January 20 to February 12, with more than 30 works on display. The exhibition is full of a strong New Year atmosphere, and the main axis of the exhibition is the Maneki Cat, people and the most recognizable flower works. The artistic attainments of Fapopo are like those of the Hong Kong version of Yayoi Kusama and the female version of Zeng Zaochai. She is like Zeng Zaochai on the wall and under the ground, graffiti with a huge creative brush of personal style. She is also known as the “Hong Kong Yayoi Kusama”. Fapopo created a unique style of painting and painted the same things in the same work with her talent of self-taught. Such an artistic collision has brought fresh impressions.

The origin of the name "Fapopo" comes from Fapopo's predestination with flowers when she was young. She likes flowers very much and sells flowers at the Mongkok Flower Market to support her family. Fapopo's creative medium is not limited to plane or canvas. She likes to paint her works on different daily necessities, and most of them are objects that have been abandoned in the garbage station, such as the flat-bottomed wok for cooking, the suitcase for travel, the classic yellow plastic duck, etc... All of them are Fapopo's canvas. Fapopo's colorful and vivid color matching and highly unique painting style are combined with those ordinary life products, so that we can see a familiar and novel scenery.
