Curator Talk | Home: From Collective Construct to Illusional Fabrication
Join us on September 7, 2024 (Saturday) at 3 PM HKT for an engaging curator talk that complements our current group exhibition, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘢𝘺 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘦. Hosted by curator Shirky Chan, this thought-provoking discussion features participating artists Henry D’Ath and Mo Lai Sze Liz, who will explore the intricate relationships between art, home, and identity. We look forward to seeing you there for this enriching exploration of home through the lens of creativity!
Art as a medium of internalization and reinterpretation, the talk would like to explore more on how the artists express the notions of home which are influenced by societal norms, personal histories, and political agendas. It also examines how artists have responded to experiences of displacement and migration of home through their work. The sharing aims to deepen our understanding of how home is constructed, experienced, and reimagined through creative expression.
