  • Hong Kong Hong Kong (map)

Touch Gallery is honored to collaborate for the first time with the pioneer of the ink art movement, Chui Tze Hung, for his solo exhibition "My Artistic Journey", which will be held in April 2025. Approaching his nineties, Chui Tze Hung continues to create tirelessly, and this exhibition will showcase his new works ranging from modern landscapes to abstract splashes of color, as well as colorful ink calligraphy, cleverly blending these elements. With his unique perspective and profound artistic accomplishments, Chui Tze Hung invites the audience into a space filled with inspiration and contemplation.

Chui Tze Hung has achieved significant recognition in the art world, earning numerous accolades throughout his career. Notably, he received the Urban Council Fine Arts Award for Painting in 1979 and for Calligraphy in 1994 at the Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition hosted by the Hong Kong Museum of Art. In 1988, he was honored with the U.S. International Artist Award and a Federal Fellowship, which allowed him to spend six months as an artist-in-residence at the "Artists' Retreat". Additionally, he has been invited as an "International Guest" to engage in artistic exchanges around the globe. In 2005, Chui was presented with a Certificate of Commendation by the Home Affairs Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government in recognition of his contributions to the arts.
