The Light Shed on Nowhere — Chan Chi Yan Aria’s Solo Exhibition

Most of the time, "home" refers to a place. But it may also refer to certain people, cats, or landscapes. People instinctively regard a particular place as home. Yet, if the so-called home has become distant or unfamiliar, can we still call it "home"?

Through the exhibition, Chan Chi Yan Aria pondered the meaning of "home". "Home" is not only about the place we live but also our relationship with the city. Aria expresses a sense of alienation from the familiar surroundings through photo etching in the exhibition.
