Moonlight is the soft, pale light that is reflected from the Moon onto the Earth’s surface. It occurs when sunlight hits the surface of the Moon and is then reflected back to the Earth. Moonlight appears much dimmer and cooler in comparison to direct sunlight because the Moon does not emit light of its own but rather reflects the light it receives from the Sun.
This exhibition is conceived with Eunyoung Yang and Vanessa Franklin as a four-hand curated exhibition to craft a harmonious sonata of ten visual artists’ works, combined together to share their inward lunar and poetic journey.
