If you missed our previous Baseline Test with Vvzela Kook, we’re excited to let you knowwe’re having two additional sessions on 13 March and 25 April:
13 Mar 2-6PM; register here
25 Apr 2-6PM; register here
In the film Blade Runner, the baseline test is part of police protocol and designed to test theeffects of a blade runner’s job on their brain and psyche, looking for any emotionaldeviation and analysing the subject’s operational stability. As a blade runner’s job was topressure and kill their own kind, it was deemed necessary to be constantly assessed as towhether their work was having a moral impact on them. To be “off baseline” would beconsidered a failure of this test.
This audio work simulates a baseline test for human beings, studying real people with realemotions and their moral reactions.
Each participant is subjected alone to a 8-minute test in English.
