Aya Mingazova  was born in Central Asia, in sunny Turkmenistan. From 2014 Aya started her art carrier in the city of Prague, Czech Republic for a long time, working and being inspired by its rich culture and art of Europe. Since 2020, Aya has been painting mostly female images in her unique style. She has been portraying sensual and fragile natures, that keep an immense power.

Her first solo exhibition “Echo” inspired by her move to Hong Kong , the diversity of Asian culture and beauty, and parting from her homeland. Realizing that globalization often erases personalities, she wants to talk about her country and culture through the prism of art. The bright colors used in her art are a trace of those traditional outfits worn by her mother, aunts, grandmothers.
