Quiet Gallery is proud to present In Plain Sight, the first solo exhibition by American contemporary artist Andy Rementer in Hong Kong.

Featuring 14 figurative paintings and 3 sculptures, the colourful yet expressionless statuesque characters by Rementer welcome viewers to experience the “see and be seen” interaction between the painted characters and themselves.

“My figures often become sort of characters on a stage, in direct contact with the viewers, almost like a ballet performance where dancers are always facing the audience. Perhaps eye contact stimulates an intimacy that helps draw in the viewers, which is intriguing to me.”
