You are warmly invited to the opening reception of “Alessandro Busci, Smoking”. The exhibition is Busci’s first solo exhibition in Asia, supported by the Italian Cultural Institute in Hong Kong. Busci generates delicate signs as a sapient calligrapher, outlining dark flashes, nocturnal lights, hypnotic monochrome landscapes with difficult promise. A dark vision of the urban drama in the world. His paintings full of gestures that prophesy the oily, petroliferous worlds, of atmospheres where hope persists only through some rare concession of a few touches of yellow or orange.
