We are pleased to organize “Sequence”, the first major solo show of Abby Lee, one of most promising young artists in HK, from 13/4-10/5.
Describing herself as “an observer of life”, Abby Lee is well known for her unique way of presenting everyday objects and their interaction with the environment in her paintings. In her new collection “Sequence”, she depicts the different types of sequences found in our daily life in the form of queues, lines of plants along a pavement etc. To her, these sequences help to create order in our world in an objective manner. By observing and depicting them, she has been able to organize her thoughts and gain new insight to her art, and invites us to reflect on our relations with social space.
The artist will be present at the opening from 4-7pm on 13/4.
