Opening on October 3rd, this captivating exhibition showcases a remarkable array of talents, featuring world-renowned artists Peter Doig and Rosamond Brown alongside an impressive selection of acclaimed Greater China artists: Halley Cheng, Chan Keng Tin, Stephen Wong, and Xiao Xu.
The rich tapestry of landscapes bridges cultural and temporal divides. From Doig’s luminous “Figure in Mountain Landscape” to Cheng’s playful engagement with classical Chinese painting in “A Tree in Jordan Valley Park.” Each artwork invites viewers to reflect on the emotional depth and psychological resonance of the landscape genre.
From the mystical allure of Xiao Xu’s “Lotus Mountain I,” the striking contrasts in Chan Keng Tin’s “Settle Our Spirit Elsewhere,” and the dreamlike quality of Stephen Wong’s “The Passenger”, we get to understand the diverse interpretations of landscape.
